• 1/8" space between top of cutter and bottom of bearing.

This combination of bit and bearings is used to cut the binding and also either 4, 5 or 6 pieces of purfling that are included in the USGK products. The spacing between the cutter and the bearing allows the bearing to ride on the side of the guitar whether the user cuts the binding or purfling first.
